With Egg of the Universe having many different purchasing routes for their products we developed a range of different shop pages and experiences. Some of these purchases went through the MindBodyOnline platform via the API, and some through WooCommerce.
All going through the same cart and checkout experience. The cart was split into sections detailing what was going to be picked up at the cafe/studio, delivered or applied to the online account.
This simplified the experience for customers of an actually quite complicated checkout system, all shared through one login.
The design of the site took inspiration from the studios themselves, as well as the existing brand and the general philosophy of the company.
Featuring curves to soften the feel of the site, a hand written font and soft earthy tones the site was designed to be as welcoming as the studios and cafes themselves.
The site featured a range of different ways to display content across with a strong focus on photography to feature the stunning imagery that Egg of the Universe had provided.
The site was developed to be integrated with the MindBodyOnline platform using the API. This meant that Egg of the Universe could completely own the customer experience from start to end and ensured that the brand messaging was consistent across all user experiences on the site.
The timetable we developed ensured the ability to quickly jump between dates, book, cancel and favourite classes.
We also expanded on the filter options that were available giving customers the ability to narrow down the classes shown to a granular level.
