hipages for tradies website

hipages provides a better, smarter way to connect tradies and consumers and to get the job done well. They are on a mission to make home improvement effortlessly efficient and aim to create a seamless experience for tradies and homeowners.

 

We’ve worked with many facets of the company over the years to bring different elements to life, just a little snapshot of the variety of work is included here.

The /tradie site was a subsite for the main hipages site that was completely aimed at the tradies rather than the consumer side of the business.

Not long after we launched the tradie site for hipages they undertook a rebrand so we completed a reskin of the site for them in line with the new brand.

 

The site included a variety of ways to feature content to simplify the information they were providing.

All with clear call to actions to register, driving tradies to get in touch.

Along with being completely responsive the site was developed with speed and load times in mind resulting in some lightning fast load times.

 

The site was developed with a great user journey, if at any stage you chose your trade or business needs from the filters or drop downs on site this selection was saved and stayed with you as browsed the rest of the site. This resulted in a completely custom experience for the user tailored to their needs.

 

We also captured a range of information that was then stored and sent through with the register form to give the sales team all the information we had on the user to help with the sales process.

hipages & the block

hipages became a trusted partner of The Block 2019 and featured heavily on the show, regularly providing tradies to the contestants. We helped them create all the collateral needed and a site that could house all the block specific content and drive entries to a competition.

 

They are still a regular sponsor of the show and the site has seem many iterations, each season of the block adds more content and adjustments to the site.

The Block site needed to utilise the new brand elements as well as allow for the different styles of content hipages would be featuring.

With a whole host of different ways to featured content we provided design solutions for featured cost guides, checklists and behind the scenes posts which all had very different design needs.

The Block site was of course completely responsive but also integrated with salesforce to ensure that all competition entry details were sent into a list so they could be marketed to at a later date.

 

Once the competition form was submitted we also placed a cookie in the users browser so that the form area was then hidden on the homepage and the prompts to enter disappeared off the site. This was the help reduce the number of duplicate entries along with limiting the entries based on email address.

Digital assets

With the Block partnership each season comes a whole host of marketing materials that can work as a stand alone piece but with a nod to the block.

 

Over the years of working with hipages we’ve created a huge suite of digital advertising assets to capture their target markets attention.

Data stories

Due to the digital nature of their platform hipages have a huge amount of data they can analyse across the years to highlight certain trends based on a range of influences. We undertook a project to display this data in a meaningful way that could help consumers make timely home improvement decisions.

There were a few trends that needed to be highlighted. We interpreted the data that was provided and then broke this down into digestible chunks on the page, teamed with cute graphics to keep the attention of the viewer.

 

While still clearly a part of the hipages brand these data stories could sit as more of standalone pieces.

 

Each story had a main page showing Australia-wide data, then each state could be selected for a state specific story.

Printed Collateral

Over the course of working with hipages we’ve created a huge range of printed collateral for them.

Including a range of internal and external communications, cards, posters and stationery and much more.

hipages have additional elements in their brand guidelines that can be used internally such as a hand written font and additional tints of their colour palette to allow for additional flexibility and a bit more fun with the internal collateral.

30 tradies under 30

hipages ran a campaign to find Australia’s best 30 tradies under 30 across 5 categories. We developed a logo and brand for the campaign as well as a landing page, and digital collateral to promote that nominations were open and then the winners.

Using the hipages brand colours in new way brought a young, fresh look to the campaign with a more industrial style.

A set of icons were also developed for each of the nomination categories that were used across the collateral.
